Inline Hockey Australia has placed the 2008 ILHA National Championship Award winners and 2008 National Team players on the website under National Championships.
The youth players named to the Oceania/Asia Pacific will be published in the next few days.
The last two finals finished with a bang.......In the Senior Women's final between Victoria and Western Australia the game went into overtime and a shootout before Mel Brogan beat Belinda James in a sudden victory shootout. Victoria reclaimed the Sr. Women's title for the second year with a 1-0 victory.
The Men's final, also went into overtime as Trent Mattschoss one-timed a lose puck in to the net giving South Australia their first Senior Men's title.
The Senior Men's Grand Final will be featured on FOX SPORTS 1 on Wednesday, November 26 at 8am and replayed on Thursday, November 27th at 11:30pm.
The 2008 Nationals is quickly approaching an end as the last six division are playing off for Gold Medals.
13's and Under Victoria 7 WA 2
Victoria was paced Zak Miller scored 4 goals and added 2 assists for the winners. Caleb Butler, Jason Buchanan and Seunghwan Lee were the other goal scorers for Victoria. Zane Cunliffe and Lewis Mountford replied for Western Australia who have been kept off the Gold Medal stand today.
Victorians Nicholas Stephenson and Ken Stewart combined for 15 saves and 2 goals against. Western Australia also split their goaltending duties with Shamyn Kerimi and Tom Boshman combined for 38 saves.
Vets Tasmania 6 Victoria 2
Mark Schuettpelz and Dean Prystupa chipped in a pair of goals each to pace Tasmania to the victory and Gold Medal. Richard Matear and Herbie McCandless also scored for Tassie who won the gold for the first time in the Vets Division.
Replying for Victoria were Nik Antony and David Byne.
21's and Under NSW 0 South Australia 4
Another great game with the home state beating this years only NSW entry 4-0. Goaltender Peter King earned a shutout saving all 39 NSW shots. Arran Kirkpatrick scored twice for the SA squad. Singles were added by Jason Potter and Dion Palmer.
11's and Under South Australia 4 Victoria 2
SA got goals from four different players to beat Victoria 4-2. Nathan Shadiac, Patrick Wingrove, Remy McGuiness and Grad Gaskin scored for South Australia. Joel Hall scored both goals for Victoria in the loss.
Victoria defeated Western Australia 7-2 to win the Gold Medal at the 2nd Annual Inline Hockey Australia National Championship in Adelaide, South Australia.
Victoria was lead by Alex Barnes with the hat trick. Other Victoria goals were scored by Jamie Bourke with a pair, Matthew Anderson and Shaun Wickham adding singles. Scoring for Western Australia was Liam Jeffries and Sam Smart.
Victoria goalie Daniel Hazlett faced 19 shots making 17 saves and WA goalie Michael Smart faced 24 shots making 17 saves.
Victoria earns another Gold Medal with WA claiming Silver and Queensland picked up the Bronze Medal.
Victoria defeated Tasmania 3-2 in the final of the Masters Division of the 2008 National Inline Hockey Championships in Adelaide, South Australia.
Victoria goals came from Mick Costales with a pair and a single to Jan-Willem Donders. Tassie had goals from Darryl Glewis and Mark Schuettpelz. Victoria goalie Gina Carroll was very busy facing 38 shots saving 36 for the Gold Medal. At the other end Ante Burela faced 14 shots from Victoria surrendering three goals to claim the Silver Medal.
Victoria 15's defeated the Western Australia 4-3 in another thriller in Adelaide. Western Australia scored all their goals in the first half. Goals by Oli John, Sam Lyndon and Kaden Goulds were all that Western Australia could muster. Victoria was led by Tim Lucus-Moore with a pair of goals including the winner on a power play with 6:55 left in the second half. Other Victoria goals were Donal O'Sullivan and Neil Wickham.
Western Australia goalie Ayden Millward faced 31 shots allowing 4 goals for the loss. Victorian goalie Tim Walls faced 28 shots allowing three goals for the win
In Junior Women's action Queensland's Dannielle Roberts scored twice to lead her team to the victory. The other goal in regulation time was scored by Sara Edmonds. The game was decided in a shootout that game Queensland a 4-3 overtime shootout victory.
South Australia got goals from Martha Rivers and had a pair from Zoe Boling.
For South Australia Megan Wiseman was in goal handling 25 shots allowing three goals in regulation time. Lauren Waddy was in the net for Queensland handling 28 shots allowing three goals.

The Grand Finals got underway at 7:30am in Adelaide, South Australia. The first game was a thriller as Queensland Jr. Women took the first Gold Medal of the event defeating South Australia 4-3 in an overtime shootout.
Games continue all day culminating with the Men's Final featuring the 2007 defending Champions Victoria facing off against the home state favorites South Australia. This game will be featured in a few weeks on Fox Sports.
